    Current stats:
    Weight: 170
    Height: 5'10"

    Goals:
    Weight: 161 comfortably.
    Dirty Thirty in 15 minutes.

    Currently, I have a girl that drives me insane so I am smoking irregulary, I have competitions every month and so do all of the people I teach and train with so I am obligated to train more frequently. Seems the trade-off is I eat worse and smoke more when I train harder, can't seem to figure that one out.

    Beginning Plans:
    None as of yet, i'll just maintain what im doing this week and next week after I compete i'll think of something.

    Down the road:
    When spring hits I want to be running outside every morning or everyday when I get off work. I want to be doing Crossfit continually on a scheduled basis every week. I want to compeltely abolish smoking and see my GF more which will help everything.

    Other goals: Dieting, I want to get a good diet down.. as of now I dont really buy the right stuff, cook it for the next day or anything. things are scattered, I want more discipline on the diet.

    WEEK 1 OF LOG



    Monday, taught 2 halfguard sweeps, bravo's and over under (arm control over, under hook). - review with class in month.

    Rolled with jake, needs to work on center point and grip control. review in a month

    rolled with hefty, getting good at microx, review in a month, needs to loosen up

    Also monday, did crossfit.. an unknown amount of rounds of Cindy, try to keep better track for next time..




    Tuesday.. rolled with chris.. need to work on posture.. he armbarred me from one of my xguard sweeps because I couldn't posture. be more conservative in that situation and just pull the guard back instead of push for the sweep, no point in over-doing it just set up something else.

    Chris: needs to develop more, stuck on spider guard when rolling with me in a standing guard.. that's ok but remember to get him to use more half butterfly and micro to X for sweeps


    Also Tuesday, did dirty thirty, time was 29 minutes.



    Wednesday.. Did PP workout and worked some 50/50 with Chris, interesting stuff.. take a deeper look into this.


    Thursday, day off.


    Friday....no class

    Saturday... Seminar

    Sunday Seminar



    WEEK 2 OF LOG



    Monday - did takedowns with hefty for a half hour.. worked on open rolling starting from guard and ending after pass or sweep or sub for half hour with chris..

    Taught step by step on how to get arm triangle from halfguard and how to get back from halfguard.

    Rolled with russian kid for a while, he needs to calm down, think I may have hurt his neck/throat and scared him when I did RNC, ask him how he is doing, appologize.

    Rest of week I smoked ciggs, ate donuts.. didnt train

    week 3

    tournament went well.. beat 5 opponents and took the championship all combined matches didn't go over 3 minutes total.

    This week is going to be very light, i want to spend more time with my girl

    monday - no technique taught, straight grappling for 1.30 hours. - Nick is a counter-grappler, talk to him about it.

    Russian guy needs to calm down, talk to him about that.


    Matt is doing wonderful, give him a blue belt.

    Nothing until Sunday, taking a week off to prep diet and training routine for tournament.

    rolled for 1.3 hours with nick, showing him more butterfly and half butterfly to develop his halfguard eyes more.. wants to work in x, having him wait on that

    monday class... about 15 people showed up.. had them all work in and out of back control.. showed details of seatbelt, one hook out, knee pillow... everyone had fun the whole hour.

    Everyone is training for Naga, sasquatch is out... - 170 pounds, gaining a bit of fat.. quitting smoking today hopefully and regardless of that im going to start running before class to get some cardio kick.. If I dont, i'll just make sure to do crossfit hard and roll long.

    Work done at 4:30

    5:30 hit the gym, elyptical till 6:15.

    6:30 - Crossfit
    7:00 - no-gi training
