Not motivating to come in and train when I have to come in and teach people stupid shit

Come to our academy and teach. Start some early AM classes before work hours or something. You and Josh still get along?

    Maybe a change of scenery?

I understand your boredom though. I'm kinda "over it" as well and haven't trained even close to as long as you have. Now it's just something to do until wakeboarding starts again.

i dont want to teach anyone shit I just want to grapple and if you learn something by grappling with me good for you

    see what im sayin?

im so spent/tired on explaining shit to people.. it seems that everytime I want to go in and train I have to explain shit when id rather smoke a one bat, go in and grapple for an hour and come home eat dinner and go to bed like I used.

chris dont even train at all anymore, dude was supposed to help me out so i'd atleast have someone to roll with to get me back into it and I havent heard from him in a loooooooong time

    so fuck it

im talking to dave at warriors cove, maybe ill do judo there and do jiujitsu with dave and some of his guys from time to time and come to where you train and hang with you and josh sometime this winter and stop and roll with chris too since that'll always be home base

cough no choice on that though

Understand completely. I'm "over" it too. We have judo M/W/F at our academy too if you're looking for that and we now have thai boxing on M/TH as well.

Warriors Cove is cool. Kinda go back to your roots. That's where you started, right?

It sucks cause you wouldn't have much competition at our academy either. Josh is one of our best grapplers (aside from our black belts who don't roll much) and you taught him what he knows.

I seen him compete against someone that isnt really that good at all and lose so I definitely want to get in there and help him out some fuckin day but I got focus on numero uno and then branch out from there

that's where the cove comes into play

    i have a master plan

was trying to remember his name.. i gotta hit work up ill fucking look it up later dude competes everywhere

I know who you're talking about.. Dude from South Dakota, right? He lost to him this past NAGA..

But he beat him at the Kali Group invitational last time.. Can't remember his fucking name either..

    Edit: Bruce Hoyer

Yeah. He's like 2-2 fighting Bruce. Josh is still a fairly new purple belt and Bruce is a pretty seasoned purple (more experience than talent)..

We'd love to have you. Although you wouldn't encounter much competition. Josh and Rob Voss rolled a few times and were pretty much stalemated and you ran right through Rob.

so you can't just talk to your instructor about not having so many teaching responsibilities? do they have an advanced-only class? or is there just nobody in your area you can't ruin consistantly?

maybe a change of scenery is necessary?
