Got my camera on christmass, never had a camera before let alone an slr or a digital slr...really had literally no idea what anything was or any of the jargon aside from point and click. So for the last few days I've been playing around and reading the manual a bunch and today was my first "test": went into NYC , got some experience...later pics came out alot better than the earlier ones Here they are, comments appreciated : bridge on the way into the city: Genteman outside of times square: Random building: First attempt at a portrait, the lady was crazy and attacked me way too overexposed...I figured it out later. Elderly couple outside of the new york public library: another shot: another: last: Some graphiti i snapped from the moving train coming in: Crazy guy who was having fun with me: Reflecting on his problems : New york public library: Mom holding the map on the way in. My niece on the train: NY public library statue piece: asian guys shoes inside toys r us: tree w/one of trumps buildings in the background: Truck: Guy i took portraits of later, he wasn't very photogenic and wouldn't look at me or do anything but one pose + bad lighting = this is the only one I'll show: Everything was just resized, I don't have photoshop here (on vacation)...nothing even cropped. Any feedback would be appreciated, it was my first time out with a camera and it was fun Some people were very mean, most were very nice...cops wouldn't let me photograph them, super dicks and homeless people are kind of scary to talk to sometimes. Other than that it was a lot of fun.
