Tomato Torrent kills my internet connection

    It will run for about 4 minutes then i'll have no connection. i have to unplug my modem and start over. any ideas why?

    That's what sucks about it? I thought it was the best thing ever until I quit the program and found I couldn't resume a d/l.

    I assume it was fixed in a later release. Is yours the newest version?

    I hated tomato torrent... I just your the BitTorrent client and it works really well.

    I use Azureus and I have absolutly no problems :wiggle:

    i used azureus but its a resource hog

    It's fine for me because I only download torrents while I'm sleeping... so it can go ahead and hog as much memory as it wants :noes:

    Yeah, Azureus blows if you try to do other things while it runs.

    same thing happened to me with azureus on my PC... IMO it was because i was maxing out my connection.. so i limited my upload to 80%ish and now it never kills the internet connection

    Tomato Torrent works the best for me and I've tried them all. Bittorrent, Azureus, Bits on Wheels, ....
    Did you forward all your ports and limit your upload speed as violator said?
