    Went to the gym today, although I didn't have anyone with me. I didn't want to push anything because I didn't have a spot, so I tried to keep things on the safe side. I'm going to look through the work out logs and see how some people write out their logs, but thought I'd put this up before I go to bed. Also, I dont know the names of all exercises, so I just copied what the machine said.

    Background info: Used to be athletic in high school but gained a lot of weight in college. Now weigh 230lbs @ 5'10" @ 23 years old. I started off with a 5 minute job on the treadmill just to start things off (running isn't a simple task for me).

    Free weight bench press: 12 reps @ 25lbs each hand, 10 reps 40lbs each hand, 8 reps 45lbs each hand.

    Iso Lateral Low Row: 12 reps @ 35lbs each side, 10 reps @ 45 lbs each side, 8 reps @ 55lbs each side

    Iso Lateral Front Lat Pull Down: 12 reps @ 45lbs each side, 10 reps @ 55lbs each side, 8 reps @ 65lbs each side.

    Super Long Pull: 12 reps @ 50lbs, 10 reps @ 70lbs, 8 reps @ 90lbs.

    Seated Dip: 12 reps @ 75lbs, 10 reps @ 120lbs, 8 reps @ 150lbs.

    Seated Bicep: 12 reps @ 45lbs, 10 reps @ 90lbs, 5 reps (couldn't get 8) @ 70lbs.

    Bench Press (not including bar weight because I don't know the bar weight. Maybe 45lbs?): 12 reps @ 70lbs, 10 reps @ 90lbs, 8 reps @ 110lbs.

    Ab Crunch: 20 reps @ 30lbs, 15 reps @ 40lbs, 10 reps @ 50lbs.

    I know I'm a noob, so any pointers I'd really appreciate. Afterwards, I went on a 10 mile bike ride in 22º weather (stupid NY). I look forward to reading some good pointers in the morning. Thanks

    You sir are ripped!

    But for cereals try one of the many 3 day a week full body workout plans for fast noobie gains and legit results.

    haha it will be a long time before I am "ripped." I'll definitely be trying out one of them. Thanks :wavey:
