    Yes, you're reading it wrong. I have eight speedlights and four monolights.

    But two of the speedlights are old like me and don't see much use.

    I bought all my "good" lights early on. I've got one Photogenic monolight I've never even used yet. :mamoru: I picked it up at an estate sale for cheap.

    I've also got a couple of 580EX's that are my workhorse lights but the Sunpacks are cheap and great at lighting small areas or providing a bit of "punch" light when needed. I think four of them will be enough for a while. :x:

    What I could really use are some additional light modifiers. I have one huge softbox, one small softbox, one strip softbox (hair light) and a couple of umbrellas. I also have a home made beauty dish. I'd like to eventually pick up an octabox or beauty dish, however most of my work is done with the speedlights so it's not a real priority at the moment.

    not to be outdone i have recently bought a few more b&w filters. dont know how many filters i have, umm less than 50 more than 20. most are the creative type not for protection. orange, green, polarizer etc

    I just threw away a 77mm yellow filter that I bought 35 years ago. I couldn't really see a need for it anymore.
