I met Tracy at the OneLight workshop back in November. She's a photographer/graphic designer. Out of all the people and all the pics of her at the workshop, she loved mine even though the same pic was taken over and over again.

    this one... http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2555/4010816349_6b4aa8fc49_o.jpg

So a few weeks back, she asked me to take some portfolio pics for her since she was changing up her website soon. So today, we braved the cold and took 2 hours or so taking pictures. Let me know what you guys think. :)

Cool pics. I noticed most of this set was in landscape orientation. Any reason for this? Not that there's anything wrong with that. Just curious.

Her work is pretty  too. And she has even more cameras than those... pretty cool.

    Thanks!

1-18 & 24 were all natural light. 19-23 were w/ a shoot through right above her, and a reflector right below her.

Thanks, 99% of the pics were shot at 1.4... even w/ the ones that are lit w/ my flash. :eek3:

No reason, really. I knew she was using pics for her portfolio though, so maybe thats why. :dunno:

    D700, 85 1.4, SB900 w/ shoot through on a few (& my reflector). Thats it.

Fantastic work. Not a fan of the subject at all though. Her look (as if she is a 40 year old but mentally 8 and refuses to grow up. Hipsters piss me off too.) and tatoos actually left me very irritated and displeased. The photography is exceptional though.

    I agree, 100%! :coold:

No worries! There's going to be one more in Galveston still when the weather is warmer. You're more than welcome to join us then. :big grin:

Highly appreciated, but I don't know if I'd stretch it that far. Thanks though.

    :kdubb:

 & Thanks! I don't judge people based on things like that... and believe me, her personality goes well w/ her looks. Live and let live. :dunno:

    Thanks big daddy! :h5:

Dude, this is probably some of your best work I've seen to date. The only ones I didn't feel were as strong as the rest were 4, 19, and 20. Great job man.

    Good set.
Something about #4 throws me off. Kind of unflattering and the pose just looks weird.

She looks cross eyed because she wasn't exactly head on.
