Today I decided to have a little experiment to see if my Treo could hold up the front of the Dodge. It turned out to be pretty uneventful though the Treo is now dead. Its probably 1/8" thinner, screen is shattered and some of its buttons are pushed in.The Treo did get replaced already, a seksay T-Mobile Wing replaced it.Ryan, text me, your number was stored in my phone. :(

isnt one of the main features of the treo/PPC that you can sync with your pc? thus - backing up all contact information at every sync? I know thats the main reason I have a PPC phone device. :dunno:

I'm glad I'm not the only one who also wondered about that. ;)

Syncing with a PC is so 2005. It's all about syncing OTA these days. :mamoru:

It is, but one certain Canadian that I bought it from decided he wanted to keep the wires/docking platform for whatever reason. The home computer doesnt have infrared abilities either. All is good, the new phone has its contact list almost completely repaired and I am much happier with it.

FWIW, it was only a Treo 600. I would have been a lot more angry if it had been a newer model.
