cool. good dof
These are awesome. Have you considered sprinkling some glitter on for added awesomeness?
composite a city skyline behind it, so it appears 100ft tall.
keep the shadows and in the foreground, drop in some tiny humans running for their lives.
I'm diggin these series.....
I think it'd be kind of cool on a black background with a little more "moody" lighting... it'd definitely be different than any kind of bug shots you normally see....
Might just be my work monitor, but I'm seeing a purplish tinge to the lighting reflecting off the grasshopper. Anybody else?
Is it dead???
no, he tamed it but giving it treats
Into the white area? I don't see any of that. However, the grasshopper does have a purple tinge to it, which I assume is natural.
man, between this and the wasp, you have a nice little series on your hand.
thanks! It's getting hard to find cool bugs. I gotta find a good source... But i'm really having fun with it...
I gotta start finding some cool backgrounds to drop these things into as well...
For the grasshopper, i'm thinking a long city street filled with parked cars, and replacing one of the cars with him...
That would be pretty , but perhaps the opposite effect would be interesting too. Tilt-shit to "miniaturize" real life with grasshopper inserted, instead of making the grasshopper into a giant in real life.
fuck. I just saw that I shot this at iso 200. i'm an idiot.
No water droplets, no care.
how do you like that 90mm? considering picking one up for the wife for her product shoots (small earrings, etc.)
