After a year of wanting, a 3 month search and debate, I finally decided to purchase a 2007 Dodge Charger SRT8 with option groups I, II, III, Sunroof, and side airbags. This is a big car!!! But for its size its fun to drive, good power, great sound, and I just love it! I have some plans for it, but Im really enjoying it stock right now.

Sorry for the shitty pics, but its all I got right now.

I do drive it from time to time... kinda pleasure driving. I get shit from my friends because I have so many options what to drive now that they get mad when I show up in my honda civic hahaha. I cant imagine how people with 14 cars do it. But I've been driving my suburban, SM, and charger so much I haven't even rode the gixxer. But its hard to ride a motorcycle cuz I live 10 min from my office. Its not worth putting on all that gear just to ride 10 in 80 plus weather.

I've toyed with the idea of finding a wingless trunk to swap with, but its kinda grown on me.

I absolutely love this car. I drove a few R/ts, and SXT chargers and those feel like shit compared to the SRT model. While I was car shopping, I tried out all kinds of cars. And for the money the SRT was a winner. Sure I could have bought an M5/M6 but in ND there is no dealer so servicing would be a problem, plus they would cost a ton to repair if I need to fix it. Is it the best car? No of course not. Is it a 1/4 mile monster? No, I say its a quick car, not a fast car. Its a great fun to drive car, thats reasonably priced and for me thats all I wanted right now.

Well I debated alot between the 300C and Charger SRt8s. Wheels dont matter cuz I plan on swapping some 22s on in july. I ultimately chose the Charger cuz of its more aggressive looks. I love the way the Charger SRT looks, the 300s are nice but they seem to be a fake ballers car, which isn't want I wanted. I wanted something more like a muscle car, even though it has 4 doors. The only option I was giving up with the charger that mattered to me was HIDs, which I already fixed. Currently the mods done to my charger are removed side moldings and emblems, HID's, Zoomers cat back exhaust, AFE stage II intake. I have projector headlights on order and soon Im going to tint it too. Next week Im hoping to have the stock 20s powdercoated gloss black and I think Im going to order the coilovers and tinted tails next week. Other future mods are going to be polished and ported heads, cams (haven't decided yet), kooks long tube headers, sway bars, strut bars, black 22s, ECU flash, and some other shit including cosmetic bs, but for the most part I only want to do performance/functional mods, not TVs, not big subs and amps, NO FUCKING LAMBO DOORS. I wanna kinda make it a modern muscle car. And then when the Challenger comes out, I'll buy that too. :big grin:

Nice, I rented a Charger for a weekend trip, even in it's stock base form it was really quite a nice all-around car.

When the charger first came out I didn't like the idea of a 4 door charger either. But it is what it is.

I plan on ordering some Mopar parts for it though.... :mamoru:

Later today when it cools down I plan on washing the garage floor and I'll try and get some better pics.
