  1. So I was looking for one after seeing this pic

    I found one on B&H but it was like $400 :eek3: :eek3: :eek3:

  2. Is there anyway to find cheaper ones? It's probably easier and way less expensive to add an amber layer ontop of the image in photoshop and adjust the blending options. :hs: :dunno:

yeah.. deviant art won't allow you to hotlink.... if you copy/paste you can pull it up.

as far as spending 400 bucks on the filter... You could probably acheive something close int PS

I got a B&W 67mm Tobacco from B&H recently. Too bad I haven't had time to try it out. :wtc:

  12. How much? For Canon?

Did you end up getting that 70-200 that I hooked you up with?

    $65

I was busy at work all day and didn't get a chance to. I missed out so I'm going to get a new one with the psmar code and canon rebate. Hopefully one day I'll be able to return the hook up to my fellow OT'er.

To make your photographs look like a dog shit on your lens and you didn't get it all off you just kinda smeared it all over.

tobacco filters have a brownish tint across the top of the filter and gradually fade into clear glass at the bottom. used to acheive different color effects. with the invention of digital, these filters aren't as necessary anymore but people still prefer to use them.

and the only filter i'd pay that much money for is an infrared one.

  21. Oh for real? I thought the whole filter was just amber in color? Maybe that's why it costs soo much $$$

  22. Where'd you get it for $65? Care to share the link? :x: Can you take a pic of the filter so we can all see what it looks like and sheeit :bigthumb:
