I want to pick your brain?

    Online Sales
    - is this how you sell? so your client logs in an picks out proofs?
    - do they pick proofs and let you know or can they buy directly?
    - do you retouch before or after they have ordered?
    - do you have the lab send directly or do you ship?
    - do you have a service setup for proofing and orders?

    in person sales
    - do you have to give them a photo book with the proofs (I guess this is a contact sheet)
    - do you mail or hand deliver?
    - where do you get your packaging? is it branded?

with either - if you are also giving them the release to reprint do you allow them to only reprint those items they have previously purchased?

the above questions are mainly out of curiosity - I am sure that most do a bit of both types. A last question that I have that I am honestly looking for - the Copyright Release - is there a generic form that is used or has everyone created their own template on branded stationary?

Being previously a photo technician I can tell you that the copyright releases that I have seen all were just letters on a stationary that stated the photo company's name, address, and phone numbers in the header. None of them really looked alike. I wish they would crack down on copyright stuff. People are ridiculous with the crap they would make up to try to copy professional pictures.

outsource to pictage, you just upload your final images. Client goes to site and buys what they want.

    In person sales:

I just have publishers on Flickr ask me if they can use my prints for free, and I let them.
