need a PC built. I'll pay, you ship. I want:

    -The fastest speed
    -The most memory
    -Best processor (in your opinion)
    -DVD/CD Burner
    -Optical Mouse
-Interface to upload analog music to be burned to CD/DVD
    -MIDI interface
    -Comcast Cable Modem?
    -I've got a monitor already.
    -Bunches and bunches of software.
    -What should I run? XP/ME/2000?

    Most of all:

    The best price!!!

Contact me at [email protected]. I am with The City of Detroit P.D. and a long time OT member.

Your suggestions and opinions on the system are welcome!!

    OK, here goes:

    1. What are you going to be using the computer for?
    2. Budget...you say you want a low price...how much is too much?
    3. Space...does it need to be small or can it be huge?
    4. Upgrades...are you the kind of guy that's going to be using this for the next 3-4 years, or do you want to keep up with the times?
    5. Software...refer to question 1.

    1. Surfing the Net, downloading music, virtual music production.
    2. $1500, firm.
    3. Medium
    4. I'll probably use it for the next 2 or so years without upgrading
    5. Photoshop, of course MS Office, burning programs, educational stuff for my 3 yr. old, analog to digital music conversion software.

P.S.: It doesn't have to be really pretty, Just really damn fast and reliable.

ummmmmmmmm photoshop alone costs $500cnd. then an legit copy of xp (pro oem) is 200$ cnd. ms office, SBE is 200$ cnd.

so right there is 900$ cnd!! (i just checked my prices, im at work). so a lost of ur $$$ is going on software.

if u were to spend 1500$ on a PC alone, i could do it, but with software, not likely. well not with LEGIT software.

Is it considered entrapment if he cuffs the guy who sells him a PC w/ pirated software?
