Local gun shop has 10/22's in stock for a tad over $200. I have been considering getting one, but think if I do, it will end up being a money pit, since I'll want a Hogue overmold stock, fluted heavy barrel, and shit like that. Does WMD crew think I should pull the trigger?

    ~$200 is a good price.

and the good thing is you dont have to buy everything as soon as possible, or at the same time. i had my 10/22 for maybe 18 months before i did anything do it.

Thats true and I suppose shooting the 10/22 instead of the AR or something will end up saving me money pretty quickly :o

Stock and barrel aren't that expensive. It's the KIDD stuff that is a wallet rapist.
