I don't know WTF is going on here. I have the GL rail key in it, I loosened the screw as much as I could have, and no matter which way I try to install it, I can never get a secure fit. The most secure I can get it, it will fall off if I shake the gun really hard or pull it off. It's almost as if the "loose" side is not grabbing anything, no matter what I try. The "fixed" side is grabbing just fine.

Any suggestions? I'm about to smash this thing or send it back to Streamlight.

Yes I tightened the fucking screw. I tightened the shit out of it with a coin and it still falls off. I'll get pics up in a few.

No, that's how I got it. Guy on ebay said he got it new, opened it to see if it fit his gun, it didn't fit so he decided to sell it. :ugh2:

I have all the keys it's supposed to come with, and the GL key is installed. The rail key is NOT the piece you're looking at in the pic, it goes from side to side, not front to back.

Looks like the clamp is on upside down. Loosen the screw all the way and see if that piece will rotate 180 degrees.

It's not on upside down and it doesn't fit any other way.

OK so we've confirmed the wrong clamp is on there, the question is where the hell can I get the correct one?

it's the 'adjustable portion of rail clamp' that looks to be wrong.

He told me it didn't fit his gun. He never specified what kind of gun, and he never said a different clamp was on the light.

Looks like the adjustable side is just on backwards. On my TLR-1, you can just unscrew it all the way, take it off and turn it around so you have the clamping side in.
