Why does he keep mentioning the lack of a contract? Isn't the agreement to box in the contract he signed when he returned to the UFC?

i like tito, he can be a prick but who isn't. if he didn't have a contract, why would he show up? if he did have a contract, why doesn't dana just take him to court over money he lost. or what the fuck ever.

all in all, a shady deal that i don't really give a fuck about.

Tito has no business talking about professionalism after the incident with Rashad at UFC69.

Wasn't the "story" that he told dana he was "letting him off the hook"? I know that's dana's version but if it was any kind of contractual issues then I can't imagine why dana wouldn't have attempted to work out the details. After all he trained for months.

    tito sucks balls.

    p.s. look at my av.

With all of the legalities and litigious nature of business it would make no sense for this to happen without a contract. Granted it was his idea but an idea is exactly that, an idea, without taking the proper action (in this case a contract) for the idea to materialize.

On a side note Jenna is the worst thing that could have happened to him, she will do nothing more than feed his ego. The fact that she is even involved in this is pathetic at best. Perhaps without her being involved this would have never happened because I cannot personally remember a time that he skipped out on a weigh-in because the contract would have been finalized.

I thought one of the main points of his recent contract with the UFC was that he would get to have a boxing match with Dana? I mean, it's one thing to demand it in your contract, then to bitch out because you don't want to anymore is quite juvenile.

Tito needs to go away, I'm bored by his fights.

He never mentioned it before, then Jenna comes up and threatens to show her botched pussy surgery to him again if he doesnt negotiate some money and he refuses to show up.

It's all just more hype. If the original post is how it originally went down then I can understand why he did what he did. Obviously the guy doesn't like being taken advantage of and he feels like Dana has been doing that since he took over the UFC. Dana is in full control of the situation, though, and Tito is a fool if the thinks he'll be able to keep his job with Dana doing everything he can to discredit him.

You guys are nuts if you think that their contracts are all set in stone years in advance. I'm sure that there are plenty of clauses and crap that they can use to get out of anything. They just wouldn't have an easy time getting another one :mamoru:.

yes but you dont know the whiole story.

tito and dana had a falling out some odd years ago- when tito re-signed with the ufc, TITO asked to fight dana in a exibition boxing match as part of HIS contract. TITO asked for this.
So they talk about the fight, and dana decides to have proceeds go to charity. Everyone and their dog knows this.
Dana shows up to fight, tito does not.
tito then goes on to say he had no idea it was for charity, why would he fight for free , blah blah blah .... bullshit bullsit bullshit. And now this.

i can see both points i guess

i wouldn't risk my career to settle some personal beef, unless it was set in seamlessly set in the contract

however, he's a douche for making it personal in the first place and calling dana out to step to the plate, then falling back when dana responded
