I'll be putting new BFG A/T's on a 05' Silverado 1500 this week, which are a LT rated tire. I'm looking for a stiffer ride which I know I'll get coming from a P rating. My question is should I get the C (6 ply) or E (10 Ply)??

    you should have a D choice..which is 8 ply.

but 10 ply are a little much for a 1/2 they are ment for 3/4's or 1 tons.

I ended up with the D rated tire....I just had to upsize from 265's to 285's. They fit and clear everything well. Looks tight!
