Ok guys, I've pretty much had it with on the shelf tire dressings. Armor All foam seems to last a week before my tires look like crap. Black Magic foam lasted a whopping 2 days, and the Meguiars Extreme stuff lasted the best at about 1.5 weeks. So, my question is this...is there a tire dressing that will actually last for a couple of weeks. Now, I live in Arkansas, and it's been raining a lot, but this is just ridiculous having to re-apply weekly. Any suggestions out there on some better stuff? Just want some personal experiences before I start randomly ordering stuff and piss the wife off.

Some of the gels last longer but if it is raining a lot, you are pretty much SOL.

You can use solvent based dressings if you want longevity, but those are not recomended for tires at all. As Scottwax said, water based pretty much is your bet option, and so far, nothing is around that will withold heavy rains

I'm really liking this SYSTEM ONE Licorice stuff! Really lasts a long time... but it's not what I consider high-gloss.

wth? damn..even when it rains here I don't have to apply it that often....I just use the black magic water based stuff....I found that it's one of the few that don't sling around the wheel well when you drive your car within 24 hours after applying it, and it normally lasts about a week.

    It looks pretty good, too:

No not yet Scott. I have one on order but my new job is so fucking busy I have not had the time. Its killing me and its just odd because we have set break times and shit cause its Telcom and union so its very fucking strict. Lots of money potential though.

It's what I use on my personal rides. Lasts for about 4 weeks.....all you have to do is wash the tire with your mitt. No degreaser.

    Really good stuff.
