The only workout equipment at my disposal is an adjustable dumbell (5-35lbs) and a 50 pound barbell. I'm a lightweight when it comes to lifting and fairly new, but I was looking for some pointers as to what other exercises I can do. I'm 5'9, 150lbs. This is my current workout:

    3 times a week, (M, W, F):

    Bicep curls with 30lb dumbell
    (4 sets, 10 reps)
Tripcep, where you put the dumbell behind your head, with 20lb
    (3 sets, 10 reps)
Shoulder, where you have ur arm straight, and lift up and down in front of you, with 15 lb dumbell
    (3 sets, 10 reps)
    Pushups
    (3 sets, 35 reps)
    Pullups
    (3 sets, 10 reps)
And to finish it off, I run ~2 miles afterwards.

I know this is a very simple workout and I'm not hitting too many different muscle groups, so if you know any other exercises that could be done with a dumbell that I can add to my workout, it would be great. Maybe some better back/shoulder exercises would help.

Sorry about the lack of exercise names. I don't know the terms just yet, but I hope to improve. Also, I know it'd be alot easier if I had more equipment, but I'm lacking cash, so I don't have any other option. Thanks for your help!

id say you can get a pretty complete workout (save for the fact that you wont be pushing a whole lot of weight)

either that or buy a more complete weight set.

Whichever fits your budget, schedule and available space best.

It is difficult to know how your form will be with heavy weight until you use a heavy weight.

But I guess your form will be shitty and most people I see doing these have bad form. I stopped doing single-leg squat since I usually move my torso forward a LOT more doing these and it ruined my regular squat form.

hold light dumbbells in your hands and do a front raise as you lower your body. See here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=k7TUo1VPuSI
