I've never had the opportunity to take moving shots like this, so what are some things I should try this weekend?

It's a 10 hour race so I can run the gamut haha.

w/o a telephoto lens, you may not get close enough to the action. slow shutter while panning is the bread and butter of motorsport action. Try that...

At night, maybe long shutter speeds to capture the lights in motion down a curve or a straightaway. That'd be cool.

Use rear-sync flash + long slow shutter to capture the head/tail lights, and then hit the flash at the very end to get the car.

But judging by your previous post, you may not have the gear to get you these shots successfully. Good luck!

Yeah I'm going to be limited but the track has *GREAT* places to shoot from. 200mm will be my limitation :/.

    Thank you!
