Did anyone watch the Tinman Series on Scifi network? I thought it was pretty awesome. Anyone know if there was something like this done before with the Wizard of Oz? As a kid I recall something but only bits and pieces. Every time I try and recall it I get parts mixed with "The Labyrinth" with David Bowie. I was hoping someone here could remember better then I

It was OK, my wife actually liked it more than me (which is amazing because she usually hates anything on Sci-Fi). The script was kind of weak, as were the effects, but the bad witch was pretty hot.

I liked it alright. It had it's ups and downs and I could only stomach DG's wide-eyed stare for so long.

Are you remembering The Wiz or Return to Oz?

It was decent but could have been so much more.

i liked it. cheesy and all, it had some good visuals, nice story, halfway decent acting, a cool kinda twist to it. i've seen a whole lot worse.

The visuals were the best part IMO, some parts were a bit over the top. I'd watch it again though.

The basic idea was cool and it could have been really great but it seemed to lose focus.

I stopped watching halfway through the 2nd installment because I got bored with it..

The first episode was really badass and I was psyched and then it just started to fall short.

I really liked the visuals and costuming and whatnot though... I should download it and try re-watching the whole thing.

I saw the first episode, and enjoyed it. Didn't finish the miniseries.

After watching the whole series I must say that it was a fresh look at the story. Although the graphics weren't flawless, it did make the syrupy old musical something that can be watched. That being said, before anyone flames me for trashing the wiz....I have two boys, one 7 and one 8, they hate the old one and love this one.

I never finished it. Just the first disc. Was the rest as good?
