Ok so I am not taking much but I am getting more serious and want the general consensus. Here is what I am taking and my timing.

    ARGININE, CREATINE, WHEY PROTIEN, CASEIN

    WORKOUT DAYS:
30 mins before breakfast: Arginine, Whey protein
30 mins before Workout: Creatine, Whey Protein, Arginine
    Post Workout : Casein, Creatine

    NON-WORKOUT DAYS
30 mins before breakfast: Arginine, Creatine, Whey Protein
    Bedtime: Casein

I also take a multi and fish oil but those are pretty self explanatory.

1.Should I switch this up.... Im thinking of adding BA to the mix.

    2. What schedule should I cycle my creatine..2 months on 1 month off?

Ah I see.... I thought it was in reference to whey before bed. Never messes with my stomach. Netiher does the Creatine.

Wouldn't regular whey protein after workout be more beneficial then casein?? You want it to absorb quickly ... I take whey about an hour before workout, and within 20 mins after. On non workout days I take them about the same time of the day as a workout day.

I generally cycle my creatine I'll do 2 jugs (one serving about 15 mins prior to workout), then I'll go thru 2 jugs of Primal N20 (again one serving about 15 mins prior to workout). Takes about 2 - 3 months or so to go thru ...

Yes..ideally. Unfortunately my schedule is such that I workout basically right before I come home shower and sleep. So generally I mix my CASEIN shake with milk (sometimes chocolate) and sometimes a TSBP of PB to get someother quicker proteins to my muscles also.

Generally my workout is from 10:30pm to 12:00am each night. I use to make the excuse that I didnt have time to workout. I found time unfortunately its real late :wtc:

What are you having for breakfast if 30 minutes before a meal you're having protein?

IMO, Start the morning off with protein + insulin spike to get out of the catabolic state that sleeping is.

30 mins after my morning protein I normally eat a bowl of wheaties and a bannana or apple. If I have more time I eat a couple eggs and Natural PB on 100% whole wheat bread.

im no nutritionist, but I would eat the wheaties, fruit, and whey all at the same time, and shoot for about 400-500 cal total for breakfast

i remember seeing somewhere that you should take creatine with a glycemic food (like sugar or another carb) because it raises insulin levels which helps put it back into the muscle stores

Yeah i have read that ..and back in the day when I was on a plyometric jump program I followed that theory. Recently I have seen countering arguments. I guess in my night time shake with chocolate milk I am getting it with sugar and pre workout without...Who knows what works better...lol

It's supposed to help with absorption, my creatine mix has dextrose in it already, so check the label first.

Yup bro, we need dextrose for maximum potentiation of absorption and huge mass gain, bro, it's written on the label.

I would like to know how you could know that because I saw no study on CEE, only some phrases from the companies themselves. Unless you are pretty aware of your body's creatine uptake.

is CEE worth it? There's a methylated version out there as well
