Bored today so cleaned the guns and started getting the urge to change things again (never a good thing)

Figured I would come up with a simple collection of guns after reading about others having many that haven't been shot in awhile or never been shot.

A large caliber full frame auto for bedside gun/range
XD45 4" (which I want to trade or sell to get a 5" model)

A smaller caliber medium frame for CCW
    XD9 4" chopped to SC

    A pocket gun for CCW
    KelTec P3AT

A semi auto rifle for medium to long range
Hi Point 995 (thinking of trading/selling to replace with an AR)

A bolt action rifle for long to very long range
    Nagant

    A shotgun
    Mossberg 590

    A 22 rifle
    10/22 custom

Figured every one of them has a purpose and no need to double up on things. Think I will put the XD and 995 up for sale this week.

    I have a KelTec P32....uncomfortable, terrible trigger.

It's not a fun gun, it's a problem solver. It goes bang every time. If you point it at the bad men, they go away.

Yep, I consider it the gun I use to help me get to my bigger guns.

Im one of those guys that has kind of an addictive personality.
If I get on collecting one thing, I have to have alot of them.

I dont know if I could ever have just one of everything.

I have more stuff then I can use in a single range trip but I wouldnt want to give any up, some of my stuff has been handed down from family members and haven't been fired in years, but about 75% of my collection sees the range atleast once or twice a year.
besides when you goto the range with something you've not fired in ages its almost like buying a new gun :)

Probably sell it for $470 with the full package. I just want the Tactical model instead, especially now after handling Verm's.

That's my idea. The Hi Point is a blast, especially with the ATI stock on it now but an AR would be more practical for the same use. I thought about an AK but figured an AR is something with more accuracy and flexibility.

more weight up front, longer sight radius.
The Service feels great in my hands, but the Tactical just a bit more.

i used to have a habit of buying multiple same caliber guns and whatnot and having a bunch that never saw daylight and a couple that i fired constantly.

Nowadays i buy one gun for each caliber or category and if i buy multiples of any caliber its one full size and one CCW.

    my collection is this:
    Bushmaster AR15- .223
    Remington 870 Tac.- 12ga
    Yugo SKS- 7.62x39
Mosin M44 (soon to be given to my dad)- 7.62x54
    Glock 17-9mm
    Glock 26 (the ccw)-9mm
    S&W 37 snubnose- .38 special
    S&W 686- .357mag
    Ruger MkII- .22LR

ive also got a glock 30 in .45acp on layaway thats almost paid off to round off a .45 and a carry gun in one...no real desire for a .40 or .357sig...was a big .40 guy for a while but realized it wasnt much a 9mm or .45 couldnt do...so anyway +1 to a practical collection! unless your rich....then by all means...

I found a complete NIB Bushy lower with 6 position stock and 2 stage trigger for $340. Now all I need is for someone to either buy my Hi Point or trade me a decent flattop upper for it. Here's everything that comes in the package.

    You like the a-grip?

I've been thinking of getting some for my G21 but it looks kinda faggy. :hs:

Looks dorky, feels awesome. It's also been durable. I figured by now at least it would show some wear but it hasn't. It's outlasted my decal grips.

Looks like it's sold pending funds.
Now to plan my next project. Been avoiding ARs because of the money and all the things that can be done but guess it's time to take the plunge.
