Can you remember a time where you were really out of shape? and think about yourself now and compare.

I was just thinking about how when I was in high school, overweight and out of shape, I could barely do a full real push up, couldn't do a pullup, and dips were impossible too.

now look at me. I'm still overweight :hsugh:

ok seriously its kinda cool to look back and see how much you progressed.

middle school: I was doing soccer, swimming, and basketball.

high school: did absolutely nothing and went skinnyfat. couldn't do pullups or pushups. :hs:

college (current): boxing, tennis, lifting and I haven't felt better.

end of high school/freshman year in college: weighed 140, only curled/pulldown'd/machine shoulder press'd every day with light weight, rarely benched, 1/4 squatted in the smith machine once in a blue moon, did 0 other leg work, skinnyfat, thought i was really tough and rad because i went to the gym every day and curled

    so sad

comming back from my motorcycle accident. I couldn't do a pushup (my wrist couldnt bent that way). I could only bench press 75 lbs, struggling! I could only squat the bar.

Weighed 190, couldnt do a single widegrip pullup, could only bench 215 for one rep, stuggled with 135 when squating in the smith machine. This was all a little over a year ago. After cutting down to the 160's, I bulked back up to 190 and you guys know how I look like now. Strength went up throughout all of this, including the cut.

2 years ago I weighed 126, chest pressed 35-40lb dumbells, and thought squatting on freemotion machines was good enough. Sort of what I like about weightlifting, its a learning process.

I never wanted to think about it because I'm still not good enough to be truely proud just yet. I think everyone can agree though that my progress is respectable.
