I was doing front smith military with 295 on and on my 8 rep a zipper effect from the the middle of pecs to the right clavical happened. Didnt really hurt, just stunned me. I finished up the workout and everything was ok so i thought. Woke up screaming that night, long story short, i either destroyed all the cartilidge from my breast plate to shoulder, fractured my collar bone, or tore the muscle off the bone. I go in tomorrow to the orthopedic surgeon for mri/xray and to see whats really going on. Gave me a ton of ultram which does jack shit. Typing with one hand sucks as well  Arms taped to chest since it kills hanging relaxed. So if i dont answer pm's right away i apologize, typing hurts. :sadwavey:

You should have known better though... you can't push yourself like that at your age. ;)

Seriously though...hope it somehow turns out to not be as serious as it seems.
    Good luck, man.

    Holy crap....

What caused the injury, you think? (besides the obvious heavy weight, smartasses :big grin: )

good luck in recovery to you NoQuarter. If it's the collar bone injury that'd be the easiest one to rehab right?

Although things don't heal as quickly at an old age, hope you recover quickly. At least it was a smith.
