what is the longest amount of time you want to spend between lifting and eating? i'll lift then start to cook dinner - frozen chicken breast. sometimes theres an hour or more of waiting time between lifting and eating.

is this too much time? should i be eating sooner?

you need some protien and something with a high gylcemic index shortly after lifting.....so a protien shake with some carbs tossed in, then cook dinner

I usually eat 2 bricks of natural shredded wheat and a double protein shake ~30 minutes before lifting and then i'll finish lifting around 1pm and won't eat until about 90 minutes afterwards :hs:.

Am I not going to get as good results by waiting about 90 minutes after I finish lifting to eat instead of eating immediately afterwards?
