So far he has beat every person that the UFC has recently put in front of him.

He KOed AA, everyone said it was impossible. Then he , for 5 rounds, out boxed AA.

    Stop hating.:nono:

again, i think that sylvia is both highly underrated and overrated

he's been the underdog in almost every recent fight and beat the odds each and every time, and has a really good finishing rate

    :nono: AA was
    A) scared to get ko'd again
    B) tore something around his ankle in the second rd.
"holes" in mirkos game eh?? :ugh: ok tim, have fun with that.

"It took him five minutes to finish him. I don't know if he was just shaking some ring rust off or what. But I definitely saw some vulnerability," Sylvia said .....

yea...ring rust.... he didnt just win the owgp late last year.... wow, it took him five minutes to finish him eh ?? he must suck. loser.
Nope, if eddie wasnt pretty much running away from mirko, add the fact that he was incredibly fucked up and just about cancelled the fight....has nothing to do with it...
im sorry for the rant, but i think tim sylvia is a fucking douchebag, everything about him, and i mean everything just makes me wanna rip my hair out.

those are just excuses, one way or another. it doesn't mean that it was a fluke that sylvia beat AA

they said that fedor had no holes in his game, and look what hunt did to him

once again, as much as i don't like sylvia, he's proven to be a good fighter. you can't dismiss all of his wins and finishes -- it's not like he faced Shannon Ritch 20-something times. where he belongs as high as he is in the rankings is yet to be determined

the only thing is that I think he's proven himself to be the champion Of a weight class that is lacking a lot of hard talent. Thats the debate really..

regardless, beating AA twice and monson alone when he was the clear underdog is nothing to scoff at. it's like Kid -- he hasn't really faced any top 10 LW in his MMA career, yet people praise him to be one of the best in the division

i agree, he has beaten everybody they have put in front of him. and he is obviously willing to face anybody they are willing to put there (crocop). its just, when you consider all his natural talents (size, strength) he could be so much more than he is. its certianly not his fault the UFC HW division is weak, he is just doing the best he can for himself.

I think Randy has a great chance of beating him.....He will be able to control Tim on the ground much better than Jeff did.....

yeah, i'm not saying that randy doesn't have a chance, but i think tim has the overall advantage

getting the clinch will be the challenging part. sylvia's been doing well with circling and foot movement to prevent getting pinned against the fence
