according to this article. supposedly he had one fight left in his contract but the ufc agreed to cut him loose. I can see why because him as a champion was really shitty for the ufc. imagine if he managed to get the title belt back. So now they both win they get rid of tim and he gets to go cash in on a few big pay days

leave the most wellknown org that probably gets him some decent sponsor money to go to a org that no one knows about and is struggling and will probalby have sponsor money dry up since he won't be splashed all over the screen by the UFC anymore,,,,good choice you big gooffy fuck

he will probably end up making more money off of purses. He made a good move. On top of that m1 gave him the option of fighting in other venues so he is in for a couple of big pay days and I guess thats exactly what hes looking for. He already has his run as a heavy weight champion and he knows hes running short on time especially with all the injuries he has. Hes not gonna be a guy thats fighting well into his fourtys like couture he is gonna be done in the next couple of years.

Hes just solidifying his future which is smart. He will fight a few big fights and he will be able to retire
