UFC really needs to give this guy some fights where he has the time to prepare. Give him more money so he can dedicate himself to training full time (if he isn't already). This guy is one of the most talented and exciting LHW the UFC has and it shows, especially considering all his fights are on such short notice.

Someone pass this along to Dana pls.

lets not get ahead of ourselves here. he smashed a very smashable scrub and looked blah against Matt Hammil. He isnt even top 10, probably not even top 15 or 20, at 205 in the UFC.

You can tell the guy has skills. He is taking fights on short notice so he didn't have the gas to stay with Hamil. Which is why I'm saying they should invest in him and give him a fight he can have time to train full time for. I really wanna see what he can do when he is in it 100%.

I don't think he's number one or in that division, but he does have good standup, his style seems like a mix of Muay Thai and Boxing. He also got taken down by Matt Hamil, almost right away, and he what he's doing on the ground, with better striking then some. I think Boetsch is really good, he did gas in the first round, but fuck how don't you, he was throwing a lot of leather, plus the altitude, although that's more of an excuse for not having good cardio.

Sorry I'll try to rewrite that LOL...
Edit: I'm really not sure if that's better to be honest

  7. I get that a lot from his posts.

I imagine mythrel as like the sugar-rush spazmo 11 year old kid taling at a million miles an hour.

It's far from the truth though. I'm relaxed in real life, I do like to talk, but not like that  Unless you're saying I'm an 11 year old then we got problems mister, meet me by the jungle gym at 3:30.

  9. I think Boetsch has a lot of potential as a fighter. He's tough, he has power, he has good kicks and wrestling already.

He's obviously nowhere close to title contention, but he has no glaring weaknesses (aside from being slow). If he can continue to improve his technique and physical fitness, he could be in the mix by this time next year.

I mean, a LOT of fighters come in, good in one area, but display no natural fighting instincts or ability to develop the other parts of their game, or simply fold when they're not the bully in a fight and can't take a shot. Boetsch is raw as hell, but he could come out strong and really make an impression on the division.

I like him. Hes looked tough, durable, decently well rounded, exciting, and powerful. I hope he continues with the UFC and continues to improve his game.

 At least the harmless shows through text. I like to joke around, life would suck to me if there wasn't humour in it. I didn't realize I sounded like a spaz, but I guess it's viewed that way on here lol. I do think I have an attention problem though..

    .

He just needs to improve his conditioning and speed. Then again his fights have all been somewhat last minute so that could also be a part of it.

Boetsch got fucked by the altitude and short notice in that fight. You could just tell he was doing great and gassed.

  19. he also threw a lot of heavy leather that didn't even touch matt. That'll gas your ass out.

Thats what I saw, and Matt had a good stand up defense. Well it wasn't amazing or anything, but enough to get a takedown and dominate from there.

I wonder if I'm suppose to care about being ignored  I'm glad to be on his.

I would give him the benefit of the doubt in this fight.

Short notice plus fighting at altitude is not a winning combination.

That might be why he was swinging for the fences because he knew he didn't have a 3 round gas tank for this fight.

He looked tired getting up from the first take down. Having Hamil neck crank and lean on him for a couple minutes is what really took it out of him.

Yeah, there's a ton of factors that probably led to him gassing so quick. Hopefully his next fight he'll have an ample amount of time to train, hell be at sea level, try and be a little more accurate/conservative with his punches and wont have a monster wrestler laying on him.

Whatever he amounts to, he's entertaining as fuck. I wanna see more.

  25. No shit. I love that the barbarian throws all those ninja kicks.
