It's dead in here, so I figured I'd just start a new thread...finally done! It actually wasn't started all that long ago, (July), but I hate having unfinished work done. It was done by Sean Williams at 1603 in Tampa. All comments welcome.

Thanks bro. We wanted to go with something a little different for the flame besides your normal yellow, red, orange combo...something that looks a little different but still serves the purpose. The hardest decision was whether or not to make the eyes red...I thought it might look a little gay. He put some ink on without tattooing it in, and I liked the way it looked, so we decided to go for it, and I'm definitely glad we did. You probably can't tell from the pictures what an amazing job he did of making the light from the torch reflect off of the tiki god, but in person IMO it looks absolutely incredible. (Yes, I'm a little biased)...and the fact that it's peeling now doesn't help either.

    Nice! Thats fucking badass.
Any reason for the tiki? I know people get tattoos for different reasons, whether it means something to you or if you just think the design is cool.

Thanks...I just love tiki art...I took a pic of a tiki god I have hanging in my house and that's what he used to base the drawing off of

freaking awesome  honestly one of the best tats I've ever seen, did a good job of replicating the wood that goes into a tiki... and i'm a bit biased since I've got a similar carving sitting at home :)
