Is it going to be a big upgrade the way 10.3 was?

Oh, I didn't mean size, but damn... that's big.

I was talking more about features. I know that 10.3 gave us a lot of new goodies. I'm not sure what 10.4 has to offer as of yet.

I think Spot Light is the best feature they could have added. I have ben waiting for a long time for something like this. It will simplify my day of searching for my files. Hopefully there will be more behinde the scenes feature to make things run more smoothly. :) Someone please find the developer seed and host it. :wiggle:

So I have the image -- but it doesnt work on my iBook G4. Sucked! I would recomend SuprNova.org for the torrent -- I got it at WAY faster than my server can host it. Over 400kb/sec...

I just finished downloading it off of a newsgroup. What should I do, rip out 10.3 and use 10.4 or dual boot. I'm running this off of my iBook G3 which is just a browsing computer, so stability isn't a huge issue.

Does it run slow as shit?

The video is pretty terrible in quality. Does anyone have a better quality video of the keynote?

Well, if you don't care about stability, I'd just pop the DVD in and do an upgrade on your iBook. Another thing you can do is to use an external drive and install the OS on there. Oh, and it seems just as fast as 10.3.4 on my 667Mhz PB.

:hsugh: especially with a pre-release, I would do a completely clean install on the iBook... there's no telling what preferences etc. might get corrupted during an upgrade, and I speak from experience on that.
