I'm not feeling the finish of wheels.

What are the specs of the wheels including lips?

Time to drop the car.. is that the diamond black finish?

I was thinking about getting the RGR's myself. Some guy on ebay has them for sale at $2200 w/o tires.

    DSHR: Wheels are 19x8.5 w/ 1.5in lip fronts and 19x9.5 w/ 2.5in lip rears

nyuaznguy: The centers are diamond black. They are the RS-GTs, same wheels that the Turner M3 has. I like RGRs also. They would look especially tight with a steel grey car like yours. A drop for my car is def the next order of business but with the holidays coming I am not sure when I will have the cash :sad2: But am going to go Ground Control coils and sways.

m3bav: LED retro was a snap. Took me all of 15 minutes.
I am running stock suspension. The H&Rs were on the old car. The e46 M3's rear sits a bit high in stock form to give it that aggressive stance.

EVERYONE: The badge is coming off the next time I need to get under the car. It was a bitch to put on so I will wait to remove it when I have to do an oil change or something.

Thanks for everyone's opinions :big grin:

I like the led's. I wish they made them for my car. Much safer too, since I don't want anyone rear ending my miniscule ammount of body work (shaved emblem).

I know you have the RS-GT's. Just saying i prefer the RGR's for my car. :)

I can't decide whether to go GC or get the PSS9's. only thing PSS9's have going for it is that its so much easier to adjust. :dunno:

Dude, I wasn't criticizing u or anything. Just saying what ones mine were since I hadn't stated it b4. :wiggle:

Anyway, call GC and talk to them. They are really cool guys and will up front with you. They now have adjustors for the rear that allow u to adjust from the top of the shock rather than geting under the car. They also have a SA set that is very competitive price-wise with PSS9s. I'm going GC cuz I plan to eventually track the car a bit.

HAd the Dinan set up. It is ok. But it is not a coilover kit and costs $$$$ more when compared to Ground Control. Plus Dinan customer service after purchase = the suck.

I don't see how. I ahve always heard that the design of the coilover (being an integrated; perfectly matched strut and spring) is superior to the independently working standard strut/spring set-up. Why else would a great majority of race cars use the coilover set-up? :dunno:
