    im trying to make a fairly simple program on my calculator that has text scroll up the screen, pause, and start again. does anybody know how to do this. i can get it to pause and start again, but only by pressing enter, i want to be able to have it do it itself. the script i used to get the text was

    Disp "something or other"
    pause
    Disp "whatever"

    but that just has it pause and i have to click enter. ive looked at another program that i downloaded that uses something similar to what im trying to do, but i believe it used the graph on it to do it, and it had to have all the settings added as well, which i dont really know how to do.

    also ive added a startup program to my calc and i want to be able to input a password before it will actually let you continue, but i dont know what i have to do to do it. i dont care if it actually stops you from continuing or just there for looks, as long as it works. i just need to know what the name of the command is, i know it has to be an IF statement but i just dont know what has to go along with it. all i need is to be able to enter the password 2-5-89 or 2589, something like that.

    heres what i have so far, i just need help with the password stuff at the end. so feel free to edit it so it works

    I think you need a Then after the If. Probably easiest to use an Else after that.

    With these commands it will go through and ask for the password twice before it stops, i need it to do it for infinite. i tried the repeat and while commands and i just cant get it to work. it still will deny me access each time. i think because i have to press enter to move on it just takes that instead of the 2. i know somebody in here knows how to fix this, so plz help me.

    Use a while loop. Something like:

    While code != whatever do

    On a side note, someone can end the program and bypass your password thing just by hitting the on button.

    i have While getKeyø2
    that stupid circle thing is an unequal sign or whatever you call it.

    so from what i understand, it should continue looping the command below it until getKey=2, but it only does it once since i have it wrote down once.

    ya i know they can bypass it, but its something that will work just to keep some people off of it, and if i get the code right, along with some other commands, it should bypass that button. other games i have download on it wont allow you to press enter to escape, you have to scroll down to the exit button on it, or in my case enter the correct password. i dont really care if it doesnt work exactly how i want it, as long as it accepts the correct password, hopefully multiple digits, and displays the correct text and executes the command.
