Ti 4800 or 9600 Pro

    not really an expert in terms of graphics cards but im currently looking for a decent card that can handle CS: Source on my dinosaur of a machine
    P4 1.4
    512 pc 133 SDRAM
    AGP 4x

    which card would is better? im currently at work so i dont really have the time and limited to which sites i can visit. and i can get both cards used pretty cheap both for less than $100cdn

    both of those cards are 8x so you won't be using them to their full potential.

    the clock on the 4800 will kick the 9600's ass, so I say stick with that.

    whats the clock on the 4800? clock speed on the 9600 pro can hit 500 easy on stock cooling.

    550Mhz in it's factory-delivered form.

    Teh 9600 has DX9 -- that's about the only thing going for it.

    How can you get each of the cards for <$100?

    Just wondering, since that's a hell of a deal.
