    I need help with an assignment and my teacher isn't explaining shit, just looking at dating sites.

    Bits/secX(1/8) (Y Packet/xbytes) is the formula he gave us.

    Here is one of our problems:

    Fractional DS0 circuit using 128-Byte packet.

    I really have no clue about this and would welcome any help.

    DSO = 64K per channel or 65536 bits
    Y = 1 (since you only mention one packet)

    I'm not math Major but your formula looks a little messed up.

    How can you have an Uppercase X and a lowercase x in a formula? is one multiplication and one a variable? If so, which is which? And if so again, is the gap between (1/8) and (Y Pack..) mean multiplication as well? As in, (5)(5)=25?
