A&P Thoughts on this sunset shot?

    I like the color in the sky but.....

    - some more cloud detail would have been nice.
    - The water is WAY under exposed
    - The horizon is not level.

    This could have been a sweet oportunity for an HDR pic.

    horizon's fixed...

    yeah, it would have... wasn't thinking of that when I shot though... Just wanted to capture the light of the sunset...

    and I think one of my legs must be longer than the other, because all of my horizons are off...

    i like it better underexposed. I like the colors in the sky and everything. I just wish there wasn't dark blobs in the sky on the upper left and lower right.

    the color is gorgeous. i love the transition from cool to a warm focal point

    what kind of tripod do you have? I had a problem with mine, and it turned out to be the design of the head... it wasn't strong enough for my camera, so it "bent" under the weight.

    I don't know about your camera, but the D70s has an option where you can turn on grid lines in the view finder, which makes it really easy to ensure you are holding the camera parallel to the horizon.
