Doesn't look like the round count is the issue, more likely it's the owner I'd worry about.

Yes, I figured they were race guns. They still look stupid.

LOL, yeah, you have to watch out for these hacks.

A couple guys named Todd Jarret, Travis Tomasie and Rob Leatham. LOL

These are their race guns in Limited division. Ugly as sin, balls to the wall pure performance full custom pistols.

I put skate tape on the front and back strap of my .380 keltec just so it wouldn't climb out of my hand as much with the really hot surplus ammo. There's your race gun

Slide weight/spring issue I'm guessing :dunno:

Did the plastic grips wear out on the middle one?

I've actually met rob leatham at a local gun shop here in utah. Apparently they are the #1 selling springer dealer in the nation. So he made a trip out here as a special visit. For a treat he put on shooting exbition down on the range. :eek3: It was The most amazing shooting with a handgun I've ever seen. He said he shoots over a 100,000 rds a year.

Slide lightening to the upmost. All of the big dogs are going with 6" slides this year in 1911/2011's.

The top two are TGO's aka Rob Leathams, Springfield.

    The middle is Travis Tomasie's.

And the last pistol is Todd Jarretts custom Para.

Only some of worlds shooting Elite.

yeah, the real professionals don't have real pretty guns, but they know it like the back of their hand and they use what absolutely works and not necessarily what looks good. Watch out for the guy with the worn out 1911 with most of the blueing missing, with grips and magwells that look like that it's been dragged through the desert. Really good chance he can shoot the shit out of the gun.

it's like comparing some of the pictures of civilian AR15'and then seeing a picture of AR15's in deployment in Iraq all beat to shit but has likely used to it's potential. Looks pretty bad ass.
