Was wondering what OT thought of the .45 Caliber USP Tactical. Been considering buying one for a while now and wanted a 2nd, 3rd, or 10th opinion on the matter. I'm mainly going to be using it for home defense and target shooting. My main concern is the price, which Ive found to be around 900-1100. Will I really be getting enough bang for the buck :mamoru:

I was considering one before I got my 1911 but I couldn't find one in any shops locally to put my hands on. After shooting the standard USP 45 and a 1911, i decided my hand liked the single stack frame of the 1911 better.

Dunno about the piece itself as far as how well it shoots and reliability.

cdnn will probably be the cheapest. They don't list their prices anymore though. Call 800-588-9500 and ask em.

Just got my CT a few weeks ago and I <3 it. I paid $950 here locally and it came with 3 clips, extra O-rings, and the thread protector (for the barrel)

I love the CT but I didn't have $1000 to spend so I got the M&P. I can't say anything bad about either it's easier to carry and lighter. I still want to get an HK down the road though.
Plus ammo is so expensive I decided I'd get a 9mm and be able to hit the range more often.

Thanks guys I appreciate the feedback. I'll get around to making up my mind one of these days. By the time that happens though I'll probably have enough to afford an MK 23

It wasn't specifically that. It was Guns n Ammo I want to guess?? I know the front cover had the CT on it and the main focus on that issue was .45's In the review there was a couple things that they were saying they liked better (size obviously cause the 23 is so big) but I want to say they liked something about the grip better among other things..there was a decent list but I honestly can't remember. It's all in there multi page review on the CT though.
    I love this pic though..:naughty:

So does the MK23 also come with a trailer for transport or do the wheels fold into the mag well?

oh yeah, it's a bit bigger than a full sized USP.45.

I guess you can't really tell in this pic. I should take new ones. I really need to get a drop-leg holster for it so i can open carry

That thing is so sweet though. I had heard that the special forces didn't like the huge size though and that was a drive to make the USP Tactical.
