Allright so I'm looking for a decent handgun roughly 500-600 bucks. I've found the S&W 9mm M&P that I really like. Does anyone own one?I'd like some feedback on them before I get one.
I think it'll be my christmas present to myself this year. :bigthumb:

I haven't read a single negative thing about them.

I would put it on my list for next gun if I didn't want an all metal pistol for no particular reason other than the fact that I already have a plastic one.

damn I can only find them for $499, retail is $624 I believe. It annoys me that everyone I talk to is like go to the .40 instead of the 9mm blah blah... if I want a damn 9mm I'm gonna buy one. Shitttt:rant:

Then get the 9mm. Don't let other people dictate what caliber you get for YOUR gun that YOU are paying for. 9mm is the cheapest of the major handgun calibers, and is easy to shoot. You can buy more of it.... so more ammo for the same/similar price = more fun!

100rnd Winchester (white box) target ammo at Wal-Fart for $12.88, can't beat that.

There is nothing wrong with 9mm, and don't let anyone ever tell you there is. Only personal preferences.

Exactly, I go to the range all the time and don't want to spend tons of money on target ammo.
