Honestly, they're out of style. I don't think you can pull them off anymore. I haven't seen someone wear black jeans in ages unless it's obvious they have no clue how to dress. Grey is sort of in though... I have a pair of grey Versace jeans that I like a lot. Lots of the big designers are making some pretty cool grey ones.

That depends. I don't see many people wearing them anymore, though they can look quite hot.

I prefer the black cargo pants that the US Secret Service agents wear. ;)

Solid black jeans = teh lose. I have no idea why I own two pairs of them.

However, designer jeans that do fading, lightening, blending, etc. work well for me.

Ok, I agree with that, I think it would look fine if you had faded or washed black jeans. All-black looks stupid though.

I agree. True black jeans are so very out, that they should have pride parades. I will admit that unless it is cargo styled, or leather, it shouldn't be true black. Professionally faded, I like, and own... Greys are a go.

I want a pair of leather pants, but can't justify the price of having them custom made. Ugh...

:rant2: Or unless you happen to work on a farm and do physical labor sometimes and know that black jeans show dirt, wear, and tear much less than blue jeans do... much less faded or designer jeans. I think that black jeans still go well with the 'cowboy' look that some people like; however, I realize none of you are probably considering this in your arguments. I think that black jeans are *hot* on some guys... it all depends on the look you're wanting.

But I agree that as for the gay and metrosexual scenes, black jeans are primarily out.
