I've only ever used a desktop, and intend to continue using the one I have as I've got it just about how I want it. However, it isnt exactly to portable, so I'm in the market for a decent used laptop. I refuse to use a celeron, so i figure that limits me to a 900mhz to 1.2ghz PIII (I'd like to be at a gig or over). I'd like to spend less than 500 bucks. If any of you have recommendations on what to buy or laptops for sale, I'm definitely interested.

On a side note, there's a guy in the OT Classifieds selling a Fujitsu Lifebook C6611. Specs Available Here. I don't know anything about this laptop, or Fujitsu in general. Is this decent? Will I be frustrated? Can it play Diablo II and Starcraft :x:? What would be the biggest flaw with it, and is it upgradeable? All in all, would you recommend it or not?

Thanks in advance, I don't know shit about laptops, I'm kinda just a desktop guy. Anything you can do to educate me is appreciated.

$500 is nothing for a laptop. You might as well stick to desktops.
