Took a A5 for a test drive yesterday and was rather pleased with the car. Well sorted and balanced. A5 - 3.2 FSI quattro w/ 265 HP & 243 Tq, manual, etc etc.

    Thoughts on the non-S5???

Nothing as of now...other than that it is a first model year of a new car...there are generally some issues which are resolved by the next model year which result in a more reliable automobile.

very true. i cant say im entirely pleased with audis reliability. i would imagine there would be some problems around the 30k miles range. theres no way i will drive an audi thats not under warranty.

at least when your cars in service the loaner cars (a3) are fun. :hsd:

I'd rather drive the A5 V6 than the 328i coupe :dunno: i see very few A5/S5s on the road compared to the 3-series. those bloody 3's are everywhere like civics around my neck of the woods

You won't see many A5/S5's because there is a 4-6 month wait to get one. :wtc:

I've had three Audi's in a row and have become spoiled. dealer service has been excellent and great warranties.
The A5 base or S is a man's car. Great presence, stance and very masculine vehicle. Commands attention unlike the Bimmers.

I think I will need to talk to the bank when the A5 drop top comes out.
