This is the new EX line from Casio. It is a 6 MP/12x optical camera that takes high-speed pictures and video.

    Link to Casio site
    Hands on at CES 2008
    • Shoots full resolution at up to 60 fps
    • Prerecord still images - continuously recording images that can be saved in the camera’s own buffer memory even before the shutter button is depressed.
    • While using flash to take up to 20 continuous shots at a speed of up to 7 frames per second.
    • Records full 1080i video. Also records video at speeds up to 1200 fps.
So whats OTAP take on this?

sounds pretty crazy, but it also sounds like it doesn't quite know what it is, a still camera or a movie camera.

Sure it can do 1200fps, but only at movie resolutions. So why not just make it a dedicated movie camera.

Something is going to be tremendously shitty about this camera, you don't get that for a thousand dollars and if it does, they win.
