    What kind of gas milage do you make (stock)? I want to know 4 cyl and 6 cyl. I am looking into buying a late 90's to 2000.

    98 4cyl 23-30mpg
    98 6 cyl 15-24mpg
    depends on how you drive it, and what tranny u got

    ha. 98 2.2L. around 20 mpg, no matter where. i'm a lead-footed bastard at traffic lights. i've stopped speeding, but the acceleration kills the mileage. that's on regular gas. premium, once every 4 or 5 tanks, and i get about 26 mpg, if i'm good to it.

    99 2.2 5spd, i get about 26-27 highway and shitty-shittier city driving.

    My last tank I got 21MPG. Thats about 60/40 highway/city driving V-6 auto transmission.

    98 4.3l auto here, usually 17-18, all city driving with a decently heavy foot :dunno:

    2000 4.3 and I get at best 15mpg. But I have the ZR2 package and 32" MTs on it and 3.73 gears.
     
  8. with 4cyc/auto I get about 19-21(city) with a heavy foot. Driving down to KC I got close to 25(hwy) w/ CC on and AC... 5sp could do a little better.

    98 ZR2 Blazer.... 15-17 mpg stock 31's dual exhaust (single in/dual out muffler)

    I get about 10-12 out of my 4.3L/700-R in the city, 16-18 on the highway...but that is at double stock HP and with a very heavy right foot :bigthumb:

    98 Blazer 4.3 A4, gets about 14-15 at best, more like 13 on average.

    60K miles, 3.42's out back, and a semi-focked tranny (TCC's goin out) :greddy2:

    2002 v6 S10 4x4 extended cab auto and it gets around 20 mpg with mostly highway driving
