    online doesn't do it justice, they're a bit lighter in person and the cuts are perfect....its a gorgeous coat

    i've seen it. I got my dad some stuff from there for christmas and I tried on the jacket. It was awesome, but I have no need for it in LA.

    and the salesman was like oh its black fleece, and i was like yeah but i want the grey flannel one and he was like no its black fleece

    and i was like ok whatever

    damn salesman, it WAS grey flannel :/

    I got a BB turtleneck as a christmas gift from a girl, its comfy I guess. Feels like something Polo would make exactly though :dunno:

    i never went to Brooks Brothers when I actually had a corporate membership card :dunno: you get like 15% of or something

    now that you mention it, our company has discounts to BB as well. I think their shirts are cut pretty conventionally though, no slim cut in the yardsale sense :crying:

    correct, while have their slim fit OBCD shirts and MTM shirts, brooks still cuts them to the American tradition of being very roomy

    BB is a posterchild for american trad

    that's the thom browne aesthetic...definately not for everyone, but I happen to like it on slim figures

    This stuff is way beyond my price range so I can't base anything on first hand experience, but judging from what I've heard and seen, many sartorialists feel the opposite way
