Circuit City is going to have a 24" Samsung lcd for $329

I wonder which panel it's going to be using.

Also an Acer 22" lcd for $169

There's probably going to be a fair share of deals from Frys, Newegg and other online
    retailers, as well.

Right now I'm swamped in drives, but I could see picking up an extra 750gb drive if the right deal comes along.

Most of the posted BF deals are complete crap compared to last year.
Each year BF gets crappier and crappier as it becomes more and more popular.

Well not everything is going to be great, but a 24" Samsung lcd for $329 is pretty good.

I'm sure Frys, Newegg, Buy.com, etc., will all get in on the sales too.

There probably will be deals on those too, but because the stock is so low, those will sellout quickly.

I remember some hot deals from online places last year. So I wouldn't count out good deals until it's over.

And even the retailers can add stuff at the last minute.

I'm headed out to staples for the 400gig satas. I'm getting 6 of them so I'll have plenty of space for my TV collection. I wish they woulda been cheaper than the 60 dollar price tag but thats still cheaper than I can get a 2tb raid 5 setup anywhere else that I've found.

Anyone else planning on going out early for anything? I'm going to hit staples at like 1am and see if anyone is there yet and probably wait in my truck until someone else gets there before going to the door. After I get out of staples I'm going to hit bestbuy to see if they have any of the Dynex dvds left and pick up a couple more spools of them.

No real lines because I live in a college town that lets out for thanksgiving break so most of the town is gone. I was there at like 2:30 or 3am and was 3rd in line.

Plus its cold as balls here for sitting out that morning so that turns a lot of people away from it. Year before last it was about 5 degrees when I went out that morning.

in the past i have shown up at staples an hour and a half before it opened and i got everything i wanted. i was maybe number 20 in line

oh and for the door busters, my staples store was being gay and limiting it to one per customer, so i had to have my girlfriend tag along. she was not happy. it was cold as balls

Well I don't have very much on my wish list at the present time, but I'll probably check out the major online places.

This is the first time I've heard of Cyber Monday, do they usually have really good deals? Examples? I'm particularly interested in harddrives this year.

I don't doubt that Monday will bring good deals.

But Friday is the single best sales day of the year, which means major competition for customer dollars and the vendors are well aware of that.
I think there will be plenty of good deals on Friday, and probably through the weekend, too.

So if you see a deal that's too good to pass up, don't assume a better deal will happen Monday.
