Okay first off, I was always on the near bottom of the growth scale for guys. All through out my middle school and high school life I was around 100-110 lbs, light weight, and short, I wrestled and had a lot of talent but I was nearly always over powered by bigger guys who would drop to my weight class (103-105 lbs).
After HS I began attending university and in my second semester began working out. Not knowing very much, I followed this basic guide I found on the internet and since have seen some good improvements. Below are what I have been following and some pictures of how I presently look. Please feel free to gimme a hand and some pointers or tips on things I could improve on.

My basic diet consists of usually a breakfast drink in the a.m., some sort of meat, fruit and salad at lunch, a heavy protein dinner of usually steak or chicken along with a pasta or rice dish and some veggies. I also drink a weigh protein drink before i hit the gym.

I complete a full body workout every other day, and try to run/swim/play frisbee or do some sort of cardio on the off days.
Here is the dumbell routine I have been following, altough instead of the dumbell step ups I use a sitting squat machine, and calf press.
(Click 'dumbell routine' above for the link)

Im proud of that third pic where I can now see that sweet vein on my biceps. haha.
I appreciate any and all comments, thanks.

From the diet you posted I think you need to eat more if your trying to gain more mass. Why only a drink for breakfast? Also I took a quick glance at that dumbbell routing and it doesn't look that great, but I guess it's better than nothing.

You haven't really stated what your goals are so how do you expect any tips? That dumbell workout isn't really good for anything other than maintenance for someone around your size or maybe as a transition from never working out to teach your muscles to adjust to lifting.

Edit: I take that back, that db workout is absolute shite. You would barely be warm after 3 sets let alone fatigued so your muscles (and I use that term loosely) wont have anything to adjust to. If working out was as simple as that routine then it'd be a brolyfest.

Stop kidding yourself thinking that you're working out with that. If you want to grow you need to work your muscles hard and one exercise per body part isn't going to cut it. Raise your intake as you've been told and switch to a better routine that is more specific to whatever it is you're aiming for.

i'd recommend ABBH. Its easy to follow and you should see nice gains.

Search for ABBH at t-mag.com and you should find it

And forget about what you hate, if you want to get bigger you have to do it anyway. If you are going to start out by limiting yourself, thats not really the best path to success.

You need to eat my friend. I also found that that taken whey protien about 30 mins after you work out, works a lot better for me.

That routine is a bit wack, try chris's routine.

Training every bodypart every other day will lead to overtraining and will probably kill your gains by not letting your muscles grow. Coupled with the fact you are'nt eating enough :hsd:

What do you think christophers base routine does? Do you think everyone who does HST is overtraining? How come a study at the University of Alabama showed that people who trained a muscle 3 times a week gained more mass and 40% more strength than people who only trained it once a week?
