I was watching a clip on Myspace about the soldiers and iraq and everything else. Im all for supporting the troops, but I can't help but to feel like some people treat it like its a trend to support the troops. I know this annoyes Mike. Does it annoy you guys?

Like there was a clip that said "you get up take a shower and put on your anti-war shirt" then shows a picture of a guy infront of a tank and it says "he protects your right to wear it" :ugh:

I know what you mean. I must get that sappy email once a week. All the DoD people I work with "think it is cute" and keep sending it. The whole marketing scheme behind the support your troops thing is complete BS. It annoys the crap out of me.

i hate the ribbon magnets....i'd like to see the person's financial statements who's behind that scheme....ie: how much does he actually donate to charity/various armed forces relief funds...etc....
