I've always had trouble sticking to my workout and diet plans in the past and on top of that I think I would set unreasonable goals for myself. Thinking I could consistently gain 2lbs/week while maintaining sub 10% bf.

A few years ago in college I started off at about 135lbs at 5'10 probably 8% bf. By the time I finished college I was about 160 at about 9% bf. After going to work and not working out consistently I had dropped down to 150 lbs and lost a lot of strength. Beginning this year I made commitment to be consistent and also realistic with my goals

So I set the goal of 180 lbs by the end of the year (30 lbs of muscle in year seemed somewhat reasonable to me as long as I could stay consistent)

It is now near the end of May and I'm currently 164. I have a week left to meet my goal of 165 at may 31st. (By my rough estimates I'm probably about 12% bf right now, its hard to tell. my abs have almost disappeared but I still have vascularity in most of my muscles)

    180 @ 12/31/08 here I come :wiggle:
