My car hasnt been washed since november much less detailed in over a year, so i need to make time, and get her cleaned up. Its a 1995 M3 in avus blue. The paint looks pretty good for its age, but there are spots of oxidation and swirls. Does this kit look good? Its obviously cheap and not "elitist" but i cant afford to spent too much right now, nor do i have that much time to spare:hs:

Thanks scott, i just needed someone to just make me a damn list of what will work for my specific application.

So, i guess ill do something like
    -meguiars clay
    -meguiars ultimate compound
-#9 (whats the difference between this and #7, i have a bottle of #7)
-wax of my choice (looking at nxt 2.0 or Gold CLass)

One other question, i have a 3" snap on blue point DA.. Would this help me in any area's?

    thanks again:bowdown:

#7 has zero cut and won't remove any potential marring you may get from UC. #9 does have light cut but still works well by hand.

No idea what kind of power that DA has or what pads are available for it. Don't be cheap, get a PC or G110.

Still doesn't mean it is suited for use on paint.

I guess SwirlX would work, I know the original version was meant for using in small areas and not the whole car but I believe it was reformulated and is now okay to use as a dedicated swirl remover.

Nudes of Whiffa are always welcome here. :x:

Used Ultimate Compound today. Awesome product. A little less cut than 105 but is super easy to remove........even in full sun. Well worth 8.00 from Wal Mart. Finishes out like 205. Maybe even better.
